Hindi yan snow.

A. Roces Sr. Ave., University of the Philippines- Diliman, Quezon City
aka "Freshie Walk"

Why Freshie Walk? Not because it's exclusive for freshmen, but because this is the street where a lot of freshies, well, walk in. Aynako basta.

Anyway, every summer, the cotton trees, well, produce cotton, and yeah, they fall off the tree and you know. HAHAHA sorry sabaw ako ngayon. So ayun, mukhang ganito  lagi ang freshie walk, or at least dun sa may AS na portion. And btw, yung cotton na galing sa cotton tree is even softer than the commercial cotton we buy. Cool lang.

CRS madness

So on April Fools Day, the CRS team had their own way of trolling. Nyan cat and Comic Sans. Who knew? Hahaha. And then, this... CRS on summer mode. :)

Yes, because CRS is awesome like that. Not for the pre-enlistment and grades parts though. Kbye.

Oh, and they also had this 'dramatic' BW for the Holy Week.

And just recently, this:

Graduation time! Congratulations people-who-are-finally-getting-out-of-this-sweet-misery-called-UP. Haha jk.

The BOMB @ QCLM

03-29-12

Ate Karen texted us about a mentoring that's gonna be held at the Christian Fellowship. At first, Reza and I were hesitant to go but we did. And thank God we did!

The worship was awesome and the place was great. We were with pastors from different parts of Luzon. The BOMB was great! He preached about the right behavior any Christian should have. Idk why but I zoned out, good thing Criz had those really maanghang Mentos and so nabuhay ulit ako. Haha. :)

We rode jeep otw to UP. Aaand resumed the reviewing for Phy71 finals.

White and proud.

03-25-12

So today's the 14th anniversary of Destiny-Manila! Yaay! =))

Each network is assigned a color. Ate LV's net is white. :) I missed SOL1 because I woke up late and I attended the 3pm service. My first-timers, Gina and David, weren't there. They didn't show up. How saaad. But anyway, the service was awesome! A video clip about the "Cardboard Testimonies" was shown. I had goosebumps. People wrote their experiences in their past life on one side of the cardboard. And then they flipped it and so on the other side was the things that God blessed them and the changes in their lives after they encountered God. It was so beautiful, I nearly cried. Also, a video clip from the movie Hercules was shown. Again, it was great. After the service, we had our Leadership cell at the backstage of UPFI: Ishmael Bernal Gallery. These are some of the things on exhibit:

Before our Leadership cell:

After that, we met outside FI. Picture taken by Kuya Matthew.

And then had some more pictures togetherrr. Ate Karen treated us for the very first time! Cheers for more treats to come. Hahaha :D
Went to Rodic's to eat dinner. Tapsilog! Mmmm :9

Took the Chem17 final exam todaaay!

I won't say or comment about anything. I'll just wait and pray for the results. Asdfghjkl. Before the exam, I was really anxious. I literally crammed for the whole thing. I admit it, I wasn't prepared at all. And so whatever happens, I'll just accept it. I deserve what I deserve.

After the Chem17 FE, I texted Ate Karen and told her what happened in the exams. She called me and I told her everything. She told me to move on and just pray for it. We don't know what God's will is, so just pray and pray and pray for the results. I'm really grateful to Ate Karen. I'm grateful for having a cell leader. She just knows what to say in every situation I'm in. I was headed to NIP when she called. I was going to see my pre-final standing in Phy71. When I arrived in NIP and searched my student number in the paper posted outside the faculty room, I cried. I wasn't expecting what I saw. I cried and cried and cried. I was so discouraged and I just felt so alone. As I was walking to CS Lib, I kept on thinking about what Sir Kito Espiritu said during a bible study he once conducted (btw, he's my Kas1 prof): "It's not about you. It's about God." And so, I realized that God was clearly teaching me something. He is discipling me. A tough discipling for that matter. When I saw the results, turned out that I had four absences in our recit class. Failing grade well-deserved. :( And so I just cheered up myself. I stopped being sad. Just like that. Rode the Ikot and went back to Kalay.

After quite some time, Ate Sheryl went to Kalay and collected the survey sheets for her Sikolohiya 126 class. And well, this happened:
